How do I add items to my Bring! list?
To add an item to your Bring! list, search for it in “What would you like to buy?” add it to your list with a tap. You can also browse through the categories below your list and add items by tapping on them.
How do I create own items?
Search for the item in the search window. If it doesn’t already exist in your catalogue, a new one will be created automatically for you to choose. The item will be displayed with a capital letter instead of an icon. Tap on it to create and put the item on your list.
How do I delete an item off of my list?
To delete an item, tap on it. It will then move to “Recently Used”.
What if I accidentally deleted an item?
No worries. You can find the last few items you deleted in “Recently Used” and you can put them back on your list by tapping on them.
How do I completely delete an item?
You can delete your own items completely by long pressing on the item, choosing “Settings” in the item details, then “Delete item”. Items from the Bring! Catalogue cannot be deleted completely.
How do I delete items from “Recently Used”?
That’s not possible in Bring!. A maximum of 12 items will be displayed in “Recently Used”. Once you delete more items, the oldest ones will drop out.
How do I add the same item twice?
It’s not possible to add the same item name twice to one list with different specifications. You can instead create an own item in its place with the specification as part of the item’s name. Example: You can create the item “Wheat Flour” (specification empty) and have it on the same list as “Flour”. For the items to look equal, you can add the icon of “Flour” to your own item “Wheat flour”.
How do I move an item to another list?
That’s not possible in Bring!.
I was unable to delete my own items.
Please check if the item you’re trying to delete is currently chosen (red) or in “Recently Used” in one of your other lists. In that case, the item cannot be deleted completely. If you added item details such as a photo or an icon to your own item, you have to delete the item in the list you added the details in.
How do I add quantities and descriptions?
If you long-press on an item the item details will open. You can add specifications such as quantities and descriptions below the item’s name. You can also search for an item including the quantity/description in the search. In that case, the description will be added to the item automatically. Example: Type “3 Apples” into the search window and the item “Apples” with the specification “3” will be suggested to you.
How do I change the icon of an item?
Long-press on the item and choose “Change icon” or the icon in the item details. You can now choose an icon from the Bring! Item catalogue. It will be saved with when going back with “<”.
How do I move an item to another category?
Long-press on the item, choose “Settings” in the item details, then “Change categories”. You can now move the item to one of the given categories.
How do I add an image to my item?
Long-press on the item and choose the camera symbol in the item details. To be able to take and add pictures in Bring!, you have to give permission to access your camera and your camera roll in your device settings.
How can I replace the icon with a picture?
That’s not possible in Bring!.
Why can I not find certain items in the Bring! catalogue?
The Bring! Item catalogue should cover most of your shopping. Uncommon items have to be added as own items.
Why are item details only saved in the list I added them in?
Many Bring! users share different lists with different people. Thus, most items are needed with different specifications in different lists and it’s useful that they don’t change in all lists after being edited in one.
Can I add prices and shops to the items on my list?
That’s not possible in Bring!. To distinguish between shops we recommend creating a separate list for each store you shop at.
How do I create a new list?
Open the list menu in the upper left corner of your list. You will find the option to create a new list at the bottom. Choose a name and a theme. In the next step you can send out invites to share your list if desired. Please note that creating lists is only possible in the smartphone app.
How do I delete a list?
Open the list, tap “...” in the upper right corner and choose “List settings” and then “Delete/exit this list”. Please note that deleting lists is only possible in the smartphone app.
How do I change the name of my list?
Open the list, tap “...” in the upper right corner and choose “List settings”. Delete the current name with X and type in a new one. Please note that this is only possible in the smartphone app.
How can I share my list?
When creating a new list, you will be asked if you wish to share it. In existing lists choose the person symbol in the upper right corner and you will be able to send out invitations to share your list there. Enter the E-mail address the other person is using Bring! with and an invitation will be sent out via E-mail and in Bring!.
My invitation to share does not seem to have been sent.
Please check if the invitation has been sent to the right E-mail address. It has to be the exact same E-mail address the invitee is using Bring! with. Sometimes the invitations end up in the spam folder, please check if that’s the case. The invitation should be displayed upon opening Bring! as well.
How can I remove a participant from a list?
That’s not possible, sorry. The participants needs to exit the list themselves. They can do that by opening the list, tapping “...” in the upper right corner and choosing “List settings”, then “Exit this list”. If that’s not possible, you can exit the list yourself and create a new one to replace it.
How do I sort the items on my list?
The items on your list are sorted into categories and displayed in the same order that the categories below your list are in. You can change the order of the categories in profile > settings > sorting. You can then move the categories to match the layout of your store. Changing the order of individual items is not possible.
How do I sort the list in the list menu?
That’s not possible in Bring!.
How can I save and reuse a list?
You can create list templates in “Inspiration” with “+”. After saving the template you can add all or a selection of items from the template to one of your lists at once.
How can I change my password?
You can change your password in profile > settings > change password. Please note that this is only possible in the smartphone app.
I forgot my password.
Upon logging in you will find the option “Forgot your password?”. A new password will be sent to you by E-mail. In case you do not receive an E-mail from us, please check your spam folder. If it’s not in there, please write an E-mail to email@example.com
stating the E-mail address you are using Bring! With and we will set a new password for you.
I have a new E-mail address.
You can change the E-mail address you’re using Bring! with in profile > settings > your profile.
I have a new phone and would like to access my old Bring! lists.
Download the Bring! App from the store and log in over “Already have an account?” with the same E-mail address you used before. Your lists will then be displayed again.
Can I use Bring! on multiple devices?
Sure. You can log into Bring! on multiple devices with the same account.
I would like to delete my Bring! account.

What’s the “Inspiration” tab for?
In “Inspiration” you can find recipes and and add your own. You can create list templates and we will also add additional content to inspire you from time to time.
How do I create a template?
You can create list templates and templates for your favourite recipes with “+”. Name your template, choose a theme and add items and optional items. If you wish, you can include a link to a recipe as well.
Why are there recipes I did not add in my Inspiration stream?
To inspire you we add a few recipe suggestion each week. If you like one of them, you can save it in your collection in “...”.
Can I share my templates?
Yes. You can share each template in “...” with a link that is sent via E-mail or messenger. Once the other person clicks the link, the template will automatically open in their Bring! App.
In wanted to share a recipe from the internet to Bring! but nothing happened.
Unfortunately not all recipe websites save their recipes in a format that can be imported to Bring!. If nothing happens after sharing, that was the case.
Items are not being synchronized to other participants.
Please check if the invitation to share the list has already been accepted. Also check that on all list participants phones mobile data usage and notifications are enabled for Bring! in the device settings. You can also synchronize the list manually by pulling down on the list screen.
After an update my lists are suddenly all doubled.
You can solve this problem by logging out (profile > settings > log out) and back in. In case you don’t remember your password for Bring!, please change it before logging out. You can then log back in over “Already have an account?” with the same Bring! account.
My Apple Watch says “Please set up Bring! on your phone first”.
Reboot both your iPhone and your Apple Watch. In case that does not help, please move Bring! to the dock of your Apple Watch.
I cannot send any notifications.
Please check if the invitation to share the list has already been accepted. Also check that on all list participants phones mobile data usage and notifications are enabled for Bring! in the device settings.
The badge count switches off automatically.
In case you are using Bring! on multiple Apple devices, please check if the badge count settings are the same on all devices. To be able to activate the badge count, permission needs to be given to Bring! in your device settings first.
Delete Bring! and reinstall it from the store. You can log back in over “Already have an account?” with your account and your lists will not be lost.
How do I change the language in Bring!?
The language of the app interface is set according to your phone language and can only be changed by changing the phone language settings. You can, however, chose any item catalogue in Bring! in profile > settings > item catalogue.
How do I switch on/off the automatic notifications?
You can switch the automatic notifications after changes off/on in profile > settings > notifications. For the automatic notifications to be sent out, the option needs to be switched on by all list participants.
Why can I not switch the badge count on?
To be able to activate the badge count, permission needs to be given to Bring! in your device settings first. You can do that in Settings > Bring! > Notifications > Badge App Icon.
What does the Display & Pocket lock function do?
This function prevents your phone from going to sleep mode when using Bring!. In addition to that, your screen will be locked automatically when using Bring! and putting your phone in your pocket. Your screen will be unlocked automatically when taking the phone out of your pocket again.
Can I use voice input instead of the keyboard in Bring!?
No, that’s not possible.
How do I connect Bring! to my Amazon Echo?
First, download the Bring! skill from the Amazon Store. You can then connect the skill to your Bring! account in the Alexa app. You will have to set a default list in the Bring! skill to which all items will be added when using the Bring! Skill. Please also note that you always have to start the Bring! skill each time before adding items to your list.
How do I connect Bring! zo my Google Home?
Start the conversation with “Talk to Bring! shopping list”. You will then find a blue banner in the Google Home app in “Discover” with which you can connect your Google Home to your Bring! account. You will have to set a default list in the Bring! action to which all items will be added when using the Bring! action. Please also note that you always have to start the Bring! action each time before adding items to your list.
How do I connect Bring! to my Google Assistant?
Start the conversation with “Talk to Bring! shopping list”. Your Google Assistant will then lead you through the set up. How do I change the default list?

How do I use Bring! With Siri?
First, you have activate the “Siri & Search” settings for Bring! In your iPhone settings. In the Bring! app you have to choose a default list which Siri will access, you can do that in Profile > Settings > Default list. You can add items to your default list with “Add [item] to my shopping list in Bring!”. If you wish, you can add quantities (“Add 1 liter of milk to my shopping list in Bring!”) or multiple items at once (“Add milk, eggs and bread to my shopping list in Bring!”). You can use Siri to delete items from your list (“Mark [item] as complete in Bring!”) or to see what’s currently on your list (“What’s on my shopping list in Bring!?” or ”Show my shopping list in Bring!”).
How do I use Bring! With Siri shortcuts?
In your iPhone settings in Bring! > Siri & Search > Shortcuts you can define shortcuts for Bring!. All items that you recently added to your list will be listed in “recent shortcuts” and can be defined as a shortcut with +. Tap the red recording symbol and record your shortcut. Save it with “Done” or record it again. You can add shortcuts for adding recipe templates to your list and to send list notifications in exactly the same way. Shortcuts for the addition of recipe templates to your list can also be defined directly in Bring! in “Inspiration”. Open the recipe template and you will find “Shortcuts: Add to Siri” at the bottom. It is not possible to define general shortcuts such as “Add [item] to my list” for Bring!, shortcuts need to be defined separately for each item/recipe template/list notification.
Why does Bring! want access to my conacts?
You can allow Bring! To access your contacts in order to send out invitations to share the list more quickly. You will then be able to choose an E-mail address directly from your contacts. If you don’t give Bring! permission to access your contacts, your functions in Bring! will not be limited.
Why does Bring! want access to my location?
In the “Offers” tab (CH, DE, FR only) you will find relevant catalogues which are selected based on your location. This ensures that you can actually find the deals offered in the catalogues in the stores near you.
Is there a Bring! desktop app?
No, but you can use the web version on your computer. It’s web.getbring.com.
Is there a Bring! app for Windows Phone?
No, Bring! is only available for iOS and Android.
Can I use Bring! with Samsung Gear?
No, Samsung Gear runs the Tizen OS. Bring! is only available for Android Wear and Apple Smartwatches.
Is there a public API for Bring!?
Bring! is not available in my language. What can I do?
