If you want to use Alexa to add items to your Bring! shopping list, you need to enable the Bring! skill for Alexa first. In this article, we'll show you how.
First, download the free Alexa app to your smartphone and sign in with your Amazon account. If you don't already have an Amazon account, you'll need to create one first.
Connect Bring! to Alexa by enabling the Bring! skill in the Alexa app. To do this, go to "More" in the Alexa app and select "Skills and Games".
Look for "Bring! Shopping List" in the Skills section and click on "Enable to use" to download the Bring! skill for Alexa.
Before you can use Bring! with Alexa, you need to connect your Bring! List with Alexa. Open the skill and go to "Settings" to link your account. Then log in with your Bring! account information. If you have multiple lists, you will need to set a default list for the Bring! skill before using it for the first time. Any items you add using the Bring! skill will then be assigned to that list.
Grant Alexa authorization for read and write access to your Bring! shopping list.
Your Alexa shopping list is not synchronized in real time with your Bring! standard list. To edit your list, say the following: "Alexa, open Bring! and add (item) to my shopping list."
