Bring! is on course for growth: In 2020, the company increased its revenue by more than two-thirds (69 percent). And the trend is rising sharply: in the first quarter of 2021 alone, revenue was around 240 percent higher than in the first three months of 2020. The total number of app downloads broke through the 10 million mark for the first time last year and currently stands at over 12 million - with over half a million downloads added in the first quarter of 2021 alone. In the meantime, Bring! has become an indispensable companion for many people when shopping for groceries and household items: Users organized more than 125 million shopping trips with the app in 2020 alone.
Bring! offers brands in FMCG and retail a specialized mobile advertising platform. Using different advertising formats - from sponsored products on the shopping list, to local retailer offers, to recipe recommendations in the inspiration section - which are integrated directly into the user experience of the app, advertisers can reach their target groups when it really matters: during the planning and execution of their grocery shopping.
With success: In 2020 alone, Bring! was able to realize numerous campaigns with well-known manufacturers such as Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Dr. Oetker, Danone, Barilla, and Coca Cola, as well as retail chains such as EDEKA, Lidl, and Migros.
As sales grow, so does the company: Bring! plans to double its headcount by the end of the year compared to the end of 2019. Bring! has already made important additions this year as well. As of April 2021 Nadine Müller, for example, is responsible for all sales activities in Switzerland as Head of Sales Switzerland. The 37-year-old comes from Mediaschneider, Switzerland's leading independent media agency, where she was most recently Managing Director. With over 15 years of agency, media and marketing experience, she will be responsible for building and expanding customer and agency relationships in Switzerland and further developing advertising products at Bring!.
Davide Falzone has already been with the company for some time: As Country Manager, he built up the Bring! business in Germany. As Commercial Director, the 32-year-old is now also responsible for global sales targets, the advertising business, and the development and implementation of the company's business strategies.
Bring! plans to continue its growth in 2021. To this end, the app and the advertising platform will also be developed further. A significantly expanded Bring! version will be released this spring and will offer additional functions, more personalization and additional advertising formats, among other things.
